Shane Ó Fearghail
Shane Ó FearghailSinger Songwriter / Artist
Shane is an Irish Singer-songwriter living in Vienna. From Dublin, his musical style fits neatly into the Irish Indie Folk box. Likened to REM, Crowded House, Rufus Wainright III, Glen Hansard and Ron Sexsmith, it is easy to see where his songwriting loyalties lie. Irish music however, is his first love.

“An uber professional Shane captivates every audience. Indeed great songwriting meets high musical sense. A fantastic artist!” Bernd Rossmann – Best Acoustics Reinhardt – Germany

Shane released his critically acclaimed debut album ‘The Watcher & The Comet’ under the title of Caruso – where he signed a publishing deal for Europe. His second album – ‘Everything You Need Is Here’ took him a step further, securing licensing deals in North America and beyond.

Headhunted by several labels, Shane independently released his third studio album ‘They Might See Dolphins’, establishing him as a consistent songwriter and solid solo touring artist! His fourth long play – ‘Born From Tradition’, is a truly Irish affair in the ballad tradition. Written in English and Irish, recorded and released during lockdown, it takes Shane back home – metaphorically speaking. ‘Born From Tradition’ has been nominated for “Best Album Award” at the CeltCast Fantasy Awards in the Netherlands. ‘Ná Bí Buartha’, one of the album tracks, has also been nominated in the “Best Song” catergory.

Shane is in active in the Dublin and Vienna songwriting scene and recently won best songwriter award at the Sofia Singer Songwriting Festival in Bulgaria. He continues to maintain his indie status and will begin work on his fifth studio album in September 202. A roots and rhythm affair, flavoured with Irish and Appalachian feel, it will feature his new live band ‘The Host’.

Originally from South Africa and since arriving in Ireland in 2008, Green has been developing her craft by playing in venues around Ireland, the UK and Europe. Green celebrated her recently-acquired Irish citizenship with her second EP, The Apple, which is set for release on September 4th, 2014.

On the live front, Green has played numerous gigs, including Whelans, the Grand Social and Crane Lane. She has also supported well known local acts, Pugwash and Caruso.

Regarding her recent citizenship, “I feel like I’ve come full circle as my great grandparents were Irish, and now I am too.” Green’s debut EP, ‘Can You Understand?’ released in 2010, sparked interest from various press and media, not only in Ireland but also in the UK and Europe. Jackie Hayden (the man who originally signed U2) declared Cathryn Green, Best Female Solo Act of 2010 in the highly-respected Irish publication, Hot Press stating ‘this is so good we could soon be claiming her as one of our own.’ How prophetic his comments turned out to be!

Stuart NevilleSinger Songwriter
STUART NEVILLE is a Scottish singer-songwriter based in Vienna, Austria. Gigging solo since 2001 from Greece to Austria, from Scotland to Australia, travelling, grafting, playing and chancing upon far too many characters and friends to remember them all. Performing original songs with strong influences of the grunge and raw indie of his youth, fused with honest vibrancy and the encounters and personalities of his life and travels, he has always kept the acoustic fire burning.

Stuart is also the front-man of indie-rock band ‘JUDO PUSH’ with whom he released their debut album ‘FOR THE NORTH’ in 2014, supported ‘THE NOTWIST’ at the end of their ‘Close to the Glass Tour’ and composed the soundtrack for CINÉMA HUMAINE documentary film ‘HORN’ in the same year. Stuart has also just finished recording with MIKE STARK for his new solo acoustic EP ‘BRIGHT-EYED YOUNG THINGS’ to be officially released early 2016.

Shane Ó Fearghail & The Host
Shane Ó Fearghail & The HostBand
As a successful live performer Shane Ó Fearghail tours solo and also with his band ‘The Host’. Hailing from Austria, Claudia Heidegger (Fiddle/Vocals/Mandolin), Emily Velasquez (Bass/Ukulele/Vocals), David Butschek (Percussion/Ukulele/Vocals); together Shane & The Host are a serious live proposition.

The style has a distinct Irish feel, rattled with traditional Gaelic and Appalachian roots and rhythms. The sound is sweetened by that central European salt. Up tempo, crowd engaging and full of soul, all singing; this ensemble makes for a real live experience.

“Shane Ó Fearghail & The Host are one of those bands that grabs you from the first minute and won’t let them go. A wonderful live band”! Harald Neger – Donauinselfest Vienna / We Serve You Better
